Brave Fox is for children and parents who want to practise speech sounds together at home. You can explore the materials while waiting for speech and language therapy, alongside therapist-led home practice, or when trying activities together for the first time. The service does not assess whether your child needs therapy or replace professional support.
Can we use Brave Fox to practise R or S sounds at home?
Brave Fox offers games, exercises and stories for your chosen speech sound. You can explore the materials together while waiting for speech and language therapy. The service does not assess your child’s pronunciation or need for therapy.
How much does it cost?
Try a free practice pack first to see whether Brave Fox suits your family. Leave your contact details and we’ll email the pack and instructions. This does not start a paid subscription. If you decide to continue, a subscription costs SEK 445 per month. It includes digital games, exercises and stories personalised to your child’s age, gender, interests and chosen speech sound. You can cancel at any time.
What information about my child is needed?
The practice pack is personalised using your child’s age, gender, interests and chosen speech sound. The service does not store or process health data. On this website, we only ask for a parent’s contact details so we can get in touch.
Does Brave Fox replace speech and language therapy?
No. Brave Fox provides home practice materials. It does not assess speech development or replace assessment and advice from a speech and language therapist. If you are concerned about your child’s speech or language, speak to your GP or health visitor.
Can we start while waiting for speech and language therapy?
Yes. You can explore Brave Fox’s games, exercises and stories at home while waiting for therapy and alongside ongoing therapy. The practice plan takes account of your child’s age, gender, interests and chosen speech sound. The service does not replace speech and language therapy.
Which languages are the practice materials available in?
Practice materials are available in Finnish and Swedish. Please contact us to ask about English-language materials.
